Three ways, always with proof

Erasure

To NIST 800-88 Purge, with verification afterwards. The device can then have a second life. Standard for working drives.

Physical destruction

For drives that cannot be erased, or at your request. The drive's serial number is on the certificate.

Destruction in your presence

For sensitive data: you watch, or we destroy the drives on site at your premises.

Questions from IT managers

Which software do you use?

Certified erasure software that produces a verifiable report per drive. The name and version of the software are on every certificate.

What happens to SSDs?

We erase SSDs with the Purge method suited to flash memory (cryptographic or via the firmware), with verification. If that fails, we physically destroy the SSD.

Do you have ISO 27001 or ADISA?

Not yet. We would rather show what we do than display a logo we do not have. Certification is in our plans; until then you get proof per drive.

Can I verify the certificate?

Yes. Every certificate has a number you can check on our site.
